WarmStart questions and answers

Short answers about what WarmStart does, how it is set up and what it costs.

What is WarmStart?

WarmStart is a CRM for small sales teams. It keeps leads, deals, contacts and organizations in one place, and adds company research, drip email campaigns and a browser phone. It is built by MySEODesk.

Who is it for?

Small sales teams that work leads by phone and email. Copier and managed-print dealers are the first market, so one of the ready-made pipelines is an office equipment dealer pipeline: New lead, Site survey, Proposal sent, Negotiation, Contract signed, Installed.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not set yet. Pricing coming soon. The owner's commitment is that WarmStart will cost less than HubSpot Sales Hub Professional.

Can I try it?

Yes. The demo at https://demo.warmstartnow.com runs on a made-up office equipment dealer. Nothing you do in it is sent to anyone, and it resets every night.

How is WarmStart set up for my team?

Each customer gets a private installation with its own database and its own web address, set up to your specs: your pipeline stages, your lead sources, your users and roles, and your existing data. The details are on the tailored page.

Can my team make calls from it?

Yes. WarmStart has a browser phone that calls over WebRTC and SIP. A call is logged with an outcome such as connected, interested, meeting booked, call back later, voicemail, no answer or do not call. A daily call list gives each person a stable set of organizations to call. The phone is switched on once a phone line is connected for your team.

How do the drip emails work?

You build a campaign from steps, pick a saved list of contacts, and enroll them. Steps go out on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. in your time zone, with a daily sending cap. Every message carries your postal address and an unsubscribe link, including one-click unsubscribe. If an address bounces or marks a message as spam, WarmStart stops all mail to it. Sending is switched on once your sending domain is verified and a postal address is set.

How do website leads get in?

A form on your site can post to WarmStart's lead intake. The lead arrives as a contact marked as a lead, not as a deal, so your board stays clean. A second submission from the same email fills gaps instead of creating a duplicate. Someone then claims or assigns the lead and moves it into the pipeline when it is real.

Can I bring my existing customers and deals?

Yes. We load existing clients, contacts, deals and notes from a file you review before it goes in.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Deals and report tables export to CSV files built to open correctly in Excel.

What reports are there?

Won by channel, pipeline by stage, rep performance, won over time and weighted forecast, plus a scoreboard with rep standings. Report tables export to CSV.

Does it work on a phone?

The pages are laid out for phones, and the app can be added to a phone's home screen so it opens on its own. There is no offline mode.

How is it protected?

Each customer has a private database. Sign-in has protections against repeated password guessing, and each role sees only what it is allowed to. See the security page for more.

How does it compare with HubSpot and others?

See the side-by-side table and the pages for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Capsule and Nutshell. Every competitor fact there has a source link.
